Frequently Asked Questions

Are you on social?

Goodness yes! We are! Are you? Give us a follow! We’d love to connect. You’ll get the sneak peaks before presale and all the latest info about all the things!  FIND US ON INSTA HERE We’re also on FACEBOOK (of course) and we run amazing contests over there and post tons of “sneak peeks” and live videos of the amazing inventory coming in. CHECK US OUT HERE

Which payment methods do you accept?

CASH of course, and for your convenience, nearly everything else too! Sail Again Children’s Consignment accepts MC/VISA/Discover and even Am Ex! And CASH. We said that, right? We’ll take your cashless currencies too-like AppIe Pay, Venmo and PayPal! We do not, however accept checks or crypto currencies and we haven’t been able to get the bank to accept Monopoly Money so we have to say no to that as well. Note: 3% added to every non-cash transaction! Pay with CASH to avoid this.

Is there an admission fee?

There is NO admission fee to shop at Sail Again on Community Shopping Days. NOTE: During our PreSail Days & Times you will need a purchased presale pass to get in and there are a few Early Bird/Head Start/Sneak Peek opportunities for you to pay at the door to jump to the front of the line.

When should I arrive to shop?

The line at the door for shopping usually begins to build 30-45 minutes before the doors open. Being a part of this line is entirely up to you!

How do I get a presale pass?

To get a FREE presale pass you must either be a Consignor or Crew Member OR you can register to claim one of our free presale passes that we reserve for our HEROES (Teachers, First Responders, New Parents and Grandparents) Team Members & Consignors will receive their pass at consignor drop off. Everyone else will need to use the ticketing link! (Note: there are paid passes there too!)

Wait! How do I make sure that I get one of those passes?

Join our team! Our Crew Members (employees!) and our Consignors always shop first! These amazing moms create the sale for the rest of us, so they get first dibs on all that great stuff! They do it because it’s fun to work with other Moms and to do something great for the community . . . and because let’s face it, first dibs rocks! If you want in on the earliest possible shopping times, then check out the Join Our Crew info page. We’d love to have you work, shop and sell with us.

May I bring my baby to the saIL?

We are a child-friendly sale and allow well supervised children to all sale days. We do request that children are in a carrier on presale days due to the number of shoppers. (and so that you can enjoy hands-free and distraction-free shopping) Because our Sail Again consignors often sell strollers, wagons, handbags and shopping bags, please be prepared to have these banded when you enter. (We don’t want to try to sell you back your own wagon!)

What can I use as a shopping cart?

Sail Again does not provide shopping carts. We will though provide huge “loaner bags” for you to borrow during shopping. (think Ikea bag! . . .only it’s red and awesome) You can also purchase one to bring your goodies home in! Many sellers bring a laundry basket with a long belt tied to the handle. We’ve seen rolling luggage, wagons and strollers . . . there are all kinds of creative “bring-your-own” options. This allows you to shop without having your arms tired from carrying all the goodies that you find at the Sail ! BONUS: We also have a huge HOLD AREA! You can leave your big items and full bags there for up to 2 hours while you shop. (saving those tired arms again!)

I heard New Moms shop early. WhO is considered a “New Mom”?

A new mom is a Mom who is expecting, adopting or has a child 12 months or younger. You may participate as a New Mom in any season that your are expecting or have a child under 12 months of age. New Moms are offered early entry at our Spring (Feb/March) and Fall (Aug/ Sept) sales. BTW, Teachers, First Responders, Grandparents and other heroes. shop early too! Check out the ticketing link for more info on how you might qualify.

What about those Discount Days?

On Discount Days you will find that more than 80% of the items in our store say DISCOUNT YES on the tag! Those will ring up for 50% off. Each individual consignor determines which items are discounted and which ones are not.

Sail Again has bargains galore every day... but our Discount Days are FANTASTIC! 50% off day has quickly become our most popular shopping day of the entire sale! We offer 50% off most items all day on Saturday from 8am-5pm. ($5 early bird entry from 8am- 9am. Free after 9am)

Remember, if the item says: “Discount: Yes” on the tag, it will ring up at half price on Saturday. Most of our items are marked this way! On Sunday everything left in the store will be 75% off. (even if it said discount “no” yesterday!!) This is NEW!!! Sooooo many deals! Don’t miss it. This season it is from 11am -3pm on Sunday September 1st (yes, that is the Sunday before Labor Day) . Make plans now to join us for this awesome way to save even more $$ on your kids’ clothes and gear
